This young man is one of the most serious in the school. He usually comes in first or second in his class. He is nicknamed by his classmates, “Reverend Father.” He would like to become a religious. His family didn’t have the money to send him to the high school seminary where he passed the entrance test, so he is here as a “consolation prize.” He is someone we feel we really want to help because of his potential. He writes, “Thanks to everyone who has made this school possible. May they do so for many others as well.” An altar server and member of the vocation club, he wants to become an Assumptionist priest one day and teach like Br. Dubois, the headmaster. He continues, “I am the second child in my family. Since we are here studying until 2 PM, it would be good to have a big cafeteria canteen where we could eat, like they have in Europe and America.”
